How to Print Your Unfinished Sheets

How to supply your print files

Please provide your print file as a single PDF, containing all sides in the order you would like them to be printed on unfinished sheets.

The maximum file upload is 2GB. Please contact our team if your file size is larger and we'll help you get your file into the workflow.

Please ensure that all fonts are embedded into your PDF file.

SRA Sheet Sizes & Artwork Sizes

Unfinished sheets are larger than the Artwork Size because they haven't been trimmed. This extra space lets the paper pass through the printing machines smoothly, using rollers and clamps, without any risk of damaging your artwork. This is why the printable area is smaller.

Please see the table below for SRA sheet sizes and their respective artwork sizes.

SRA Sheet Size Artwork Size
SRA1: 900mm x 640mm 878mm x 600mm
SRA2: 640mm x 450mm 600mm x 424mm
SRA3: 450mm x 320mm 428mm x 306mm

Please supply your print file in the appropriate Artwork Size with bleed areas.

SRA Sheet Sizes & A Sizes

SRA sheets are used for printing larger-sized booklets and other print materials, but when it comes to standard booklet page sizes, they are often trimmed down to fit more common formats. Here's a breakdown:

SRA Size Artwork Size A1 A2 A3 A4 A5
SRA1 878mm x 600mm 1 2 4 8 16
SRA2 600mm x 424mm - 1 2 4 8
SRA3 428mm x 306mm - - 1 2 4

SRA1: Can produce 1 A1, 2 A2, 4 A3, 8 A4, or 16 A5 pages.

SRA2: Can produce 1 A2, 2 A3, 4 A4, or 8 A5 pages.

SRA3: Can produce 1 A3, 2 A4, or 4 A5 pages.

Colour

For best results, we recommend creating your artwork in CMYK Colour with 300dpi image resolution. Please be aware that uploaded RGB files will be converted to CMYK by our system, which may change some colours.

Black text should be set up with 100% black only to achieve the clearest printed text.

If you are printing in greyscale, please set your artwork to greyscale prior to upload.

Bleed

We ask for a 3mm bleed and a 3mm quiet area on all artwork. Please do not add any important content within this area.

Lamination

We can provide lamination for posters as long as the paper weight is 170gsm or higher. Paper lighter than 170gsm will curl if we try to laminate it.

Completing your order

Please ensure that you upload artwork in the correct size and with the correct number of sides before completing your order.

SRA2: Can produce 1 A2, 2 A3, 4 A4, or 8 A5 pages.
