How to upload your files
We accept single or combined files for your brochure. Send us single pages as individual files, or put the entire thing into one file – we’ll work with it either way.
The maximum file upload is 2GB. Please contact our team if your file size is larger and we'll help you get your file into the workflow.
The cover of your brochure actually consists of four pages: the front cover, the inside front cover, the back cover, and the inside back cover. Make sure you plan your cover content appropriately.
All of our brochures have a 3mm bleed so please do not put any important content in this area.
We have three binding options available for brochures, including saddle stitched (stapled), perfect bound, or wiro bound. Please note that your binding option may depend on the number of pages in your brochure. For example, too few pages won’t work for perfect bound, and too many pages could be too much for stapled. When you enter the number of pages for your brochure, our ordering system will switch automatically to the best binding option.
Spine for Perfect Bound
If you choose a perfect bound brochure – which means holding your pages together by adhesive to create a spine – you will need a separate print file for the spine. You can see the dimensions of your spine in your shopping cart when inputting your order, and please note that we require a 3mm bleed for spines on both the top and bottom. If you do not submit a file for the content on your spine, we will leave it blank.
Complete Your Order
You cannot complete your order without filling in all placeholders. You can add pages to your brochure in multiples of 4, and you must ensure each box has content before ordering. If you have 16 pages, for example, all 16 boxes must have content. If you don’t have that many pages designed, you must add blank pages to your brochure.
At You Love Print, we provide a custom size catalogue printing service, which allows you to create unique, compelling brochures that your customers want to take home with them and flick through at their leisure.
Selecting a custom size for your brochure couldn’t be easier. Simply select the ‘Custom Size’ button in our brochure instant quote calculator and adjust the height and width to your specific requirements.
Please be aware that there may be some brochure size restrictions and ratios required due to the printing press plate sizes used in brochure production.
Brochures are typically bound in one of three ways: staple binding, perfect binding or wiro binding. The three binding methods are a popular binding solution for brochures because they offer durability.
Staple binding, sometimes known as ‘saddle stitching’, is one of the most popular binding methods available for brochures. The staple binding process involves stacking paper in order, partially folding it and stapling the page together along the spine. Staple binding is popular because it is a fast, cost-effective process that offers durability.
Perfect binding is another commonly used binding option for brochures. The process involves binding groups of pages together using adhesive, which results in a clean, crisp printed product. Perfect binding is commonly used to create brochures, catalogues, magazines and paperback books.
Wiro binding, sometimes called ‘spiral binding’, is another popular binding method. The process involves inserting wire loops through holes punched into the brochure’s cover and internal pages. The binding method is commonly used for brochures, catalogues, training manuals, notepads, cookbooks and activity books.
