How to upload your files
Please provide the print file for your calendar as a single PDF. This must include all pages in order (outside front cover, inside front cover, 3, 4, 5, etc, inside back cover, outside back cover) as single pages, not spreads.
The maximum file upload is 2GB. Please contact our team if your file size is larger and we'll help you get your file into the workflow.
Please ensure that all fonts are embedded in your PDF file.
Colour
For best results, we recommend creating your artwork in CMYK Colour with 300dpi image resolution. Please be aware that uploaded RGB files will be converted to CMYK by our system, which may change some colours.
Black text should be set up with 100% black only to achieve the clearest printed text. If you are printing in greyscale, please set your artwork to greyscale prior to upload.
Cover
The cover of your calendar is actually made of four pages: the front cover, the inside front cover, the back cover, and the inside back cover. When designing the content for your cover, we recommend keeping any important details at least 12mm away from the punched edge.
If you choose to laminate your cover, only the outside spread (front and outside back pages) will be laminated.
Bleed
For all pages in your calendar, we ask for a 3mm bleed. We also recommend a 3mm quiet area inside of the edges of your page designs.Please refrain from adding any important content to this area. We also recommend a 12mm quiet area from the punched edge of your inner pages.
Binding options
The only binding option for calendars is wiro binding. The binding will always be placed on the top of your calendar.
So that your calendar comes out looking its best, we ask that you have a 20mm quiet area across the top for the wiro binding. Ensure you haven’t included any important content in this space, as the binding will go through it.
The binding is always on the top of the desk calendar, regardless of the calendar’s landscape or portrait orientation. Please do not have any important artwork in this area.
Completing your order
Please ensure that you upload artwork in the correct size and with the correct number of pages before completing your order. You can add pages in multiples of 4, but if you do not have enough content to fill them all, you must add blank pages.
Please thoroughly check your proof before completing your order.

You do not need a separate cover file for printing calendars. Please include your cover design as the first 2 and the last 2 pages of your PDF file.
For small runs, we tend to print your calendars on HP Indigos for offset digital printing and for larger runs of 1,000+ copies, we use Heidelberg Speedmasters for offset litho printing. For more information, please see our plant list.

Nope. You can enjoy full use of our web-to-print platform and customer services without paying a penny. You only pay when you’re absolutely ready to print.
Our web-to-print system accepts PDF files. For the best results, we recommend CMYK colour artwork with a 300dpi resolution. The maximum file upload is 2GB. Please contact our team if your file size is larger and we'll help you get your file into the workflow. Please ensure that fonts are embedded in your PDF. And please thoroughly check your digital proofs prior to printing.
Yes, please speak to our customer services team and they will be happy to supply a PDF or InDesign template for your chosen product.
Yes. Once you upload your artwork files, our online printing system has an artwork proofing feature to help you check your proofs, flag any issues and ask our customer service team any questions you may have before you send your job into production.
Yes. Printed calendars are subject to VAT.
