Tell your story by printing a paperback book. We can take your project and transform it into a beautiful paperback book that’s printed to an excellent standard on good quality paper and bound to be durable read after read. A paperback book is usually perfect bound or staple bound, and we have a variety of paper types, cover styles and finishes to help you personalise your book. Preserve your ideas, stories, photos, and more with a high-quality paperback book. Softcover books are a popular choice because they’re small, portable, easy to pick up and read, while being far more affordable than a hardback.
How to Print Your Paperback Book
How to upload your files
We happily accept your files for your paperback book however you want to send it to us. Send each page or spread as an individual file, or combine all your pages into one file.
Please note that the cover of your paperback book actually contains four pages. These pages are the front cover, inside front cover, back cover, and inside back cover.
All paperback books should have a 3mm bleed. Please do not include any important content in this space.
You can choose one of three binding options for paperback books, including saddle stitched or stapled, perfect bound, and wiro bound. Although we have three options available, your book might only be able to be printed with one, depending on the number of pages you have. If you have many pages, you will probably have to choose perfect binding. If you have fewer pages, the stapled binding will work better. When you add the number of pages to your paperback book order, our online system will automatically suggest the best binding option for your project.
Spine for Perfect Bound
If you choose perfect bound binding for your paperback book, you must upload a separate print file for the spine. You can see the spine depth on your order once it’s in your shopping cart, so you know how large it will be. We also need a 3mm bleed on the top and bottom of the spine. If you do not upload a separate print file for your paperback book’s spine, we will leave it blank.
Completing your order
To complete your order, you must ensure all the placeholder boxes are filled. You can add pages in multiples of 4 and if you don’t have enough content for these pages, you can add blank pages to your book. For example, if you have 64 pages, all 64 boxes should be filled in before you can complete your order.
